So there's a plan being floated to fund the government for 6 weeks excluding 'contentious issues' (read: "Obamacare"), and then appoint a committee to reach consensus on those. I'm NOT relieved.
1. Democrats are unlikely to go for this, and understandably because setting a precedent of government running w/out Obamacare will kill it politically.
2. There is something strangely familiar about appointing super-committees to deal with contentious issues, and it's not exactly a memory of success.
The politicians need to grow a set. You've created this situation, you can't ditch responsibility for it. So stop alternating between kicking the can and blaming the other side, and deal with it already.
